Press Release Summary: So for those who are considering using such reports to form your decision, I suggest you do 2 things. First off, consider the source. If it\'s a forum or blog, see if the person has something to gain by turning people off of the EDC Gold opportunity to gain interest in another one (look at their signatures or any other links they may post). Also, see if you can get in contact with them, and ask them for an honest recount of what they tried to do to build their business. That will help you determine whether such a report is a legitimate review of the program or just an attempt to get business for another program.
Press Release Body: I have seen this so much that I\'m close to pulling my hair out! I talk to folks who\'ve posted bad reports or messages in forums about EDC, and one of the first things I ask them is \"What did you do to build a positive reputation for yourself so that your customers would trust you?\" and another is \"What website did you use to promote the opportunity?\" So the answers? To the first question, the resounding response is \"...what do you mean, build a reputation?\" and to the other, \"...the Dubbs site.\" If there is one thing that must be understood about this program, it\'s this: you cannot get by doing nothing. There are tons of distributors out here that you\'re \"competing\" against. This DOES NOT make the market dry up, but it does mean that you have to work overtime to brand yourself and stand out from the crowd. With any business, if you haven\'t taken the steps to make yourself known and to build a positive reputation for being honest, upfront and helpful, no one will take you seriously enough to purchase anything from you. Once you get past that barrier, you MUST be creative and innovative! You have to set yourself apart from the hundreds of others selling the same thing you are. How to do that? Well, you can start by getting your own website! Using replicated sites will not do anyone justice but the person who\'s face and voice is all over the site (and if you\'re a distributor, it\'s not yours....). Replicated sites only have a small snippet of info talking about the actual sponsor, nothing personal to help website visitors get to know you, no images of you or personal messages from you. In business, people want to be able to put your name with your face (and more if they can), because work is done primarily online. This is the only way they\'ll have of \"meeting\" you. If you\'re using a replicated site, the introduction to your and who you are is never there, making it almost impossible for visitors to feel comfortable with the opportunity. http://www.incomecycle.com
For those who were once members of EDC and are now bashing the program through such reports, it seems they never went that extra mile to make the opportunity a success for themselves. The others joined up with another program and are only using a negative angle to get more interest for their new program. Not once in almost a year have I come across someone who\'s said that they really did put in effort and believed in themselves and the program enough to make it work, and still things did not work out for them. When those naysayers recount the so-called work that they put in, it\'s almost laughable. I don\'t say that to be rude, but purchasing a Google Adwords account to try and keep up with the big names, or just driving traffic to a website isn\'t enough. There is a science to it all, and a fairly easy science to learn when you have a good sponsor.

And then, ask questions to those you\'ve seen on the scene for a long period of time. Members who\'ve been in for the long haul will have more accurate information than someone who was only a member for a month and then gave up.
